Why drink coffee at Quaich?

Quaich relies on a steady stream of local young people to work in the shop. From gap year students to Saturday staff we spend a great deal of time training a long list of tasks and capabilities such as food safety, service-with-a-smile, counting, keeping clear, opening & closing…and of course how to make a lovely cup of coffee.

One of the things we teach is that people don’t come to Quaich JUST for the coffee… many of you have coffee makers at home and could just as easily grind and brew your own. So what is it that brings you through our doors and what do we try to do to keep you coming?
